AhlulBayt News Agency: Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has warned that while Iranians mourn their loved ones and rebuild what has been destroyed by terrorist acts, a new and serious danger is emerging: the complete collapse of diplomacy.
According to IRNA, in a post published on his X (formerly Twitter) account, Araghchi cautioned that an all-out confrontation would be chaotic, brutal, and far more prolonged than the unrealistic timelines that Israel and its allies are reportedly presenting to the White House. He stressed that such a conflict would spiral well beyond any calculated expectations.
The Iranian foreign minister reiterated that Tehran’s message to US President Donald Trump is unequivocal. He said the United States has already tested every form of hostility against Iran — from sanctions and cyberattacks to direct military aggression — and has most recently, he added, fueled a large-scale terrorist operation. According to Araghchi, all of these efforts have failed.
He concluded by urging a change in approach, saying the time has come to abandon coercion and confrontation and instead pursue a path based on respect.
